I really don't mind losing a duel but it really ticks me off when I lose to an image that is not in the correct category!

Costea Mihai, I do not understand "the factors involved dueling system"! Am I missing something here?

I've had the same thing, I was beaten with by a girl doing indoor rock climbing against my photo of a spectacular racing car crash, I was told duels are not done against subcategories but against main categories. I said how can you compare a rock climber against motorsport, it's like trying to compare an elephant against a grain of wheat, impossible.

If images are not compared against sub categories then it is totally pointless to have sub categories.

Personally, I think there are too many categories and way too many subcategories. Sports could have team sports, adults ... team sports, children ... individual sports, adults ... and individual sports, children -- and leave it at that. And there are separate main categories for children, weddings, people AND professional people. Good heavens! And within each of those categories there are oodles of sub-category options. For stock purposes, the proper use of tags will take care of all the other identification the photographer would want to put on their image. And as far as duels, good photos will always take a majority of decisions over poor photos, the categories don't really matter a whole lot.
