Why can't limits be set for the number of entries one person is allowed to enter into a challenge?

There is absolutely no incentive to enter challenges until there are limits placed on the number of photos one person can enter. A current challenge "Egrets and Herons from 2014" has 96 entries out of a current total of 203 from ONE person! It's no wonder they receive award after award for just OK images when they've pretty much swamped the competition. Unless Pixoto levels the playing field for ALL participants, I'll not be entering any more challenges or uploading any new images and I'll not be renewing my account at the end of my billing term.

I think it's ridiculous, LOL! Like in the "Plastic Bottles" challenge (note the quote since some of the winners are glass bottles), one contestant from Singapore won 16 of the 50 top placements (1st place too) by inundating the contest with typically the same bottles shot at different angles- a bottle on its side, standing up, shot with spoons, shot with a wine glass, filled with marbles standing up, filled with marbles lying down, again with spoons but different angle...ad nauseam.

Hello Sandra, each moderator can set rules that only specific number of entries can be entered, if they want. If the moderator does not limit number of entries user can enter as many images he/she likes.

True but makes a moderator's job extremely difficult in having to keep a running total of everyone's entries. Would it not be better for Pixoto to place a limit in their software of say 10 or 12 with a note in the challenge instruction page to this effect? Or even an option in the create a challeng page fit the moderator to specify the limit, again I would have thought an easy enough software adjustment.

Or at least let us sort the entries by participant name.

I agree, a limit should be placed in the challenges. A very simple system adjustment.

along with a limit on how many challenges one person can run at a time...right now one person has 25 challenges in the voting stage...another has 20 currently accepting entries.

my solution is to just skip all challenges.... I refuse to vote on them.
