Who else uses Google Chrome?

I've become so tired of Firefox "not responding" and choking on web pages, particularly when I am at image-heavy sites like Pixoto, so I just installed Google Chrome. What the heck, I thought. Worth a try.

It's been a little shocking. I just tried out the duels, and the images are, I swear, crisper and clearer than they appear in Firefox.

Has anyone else experienced this? I swear I haven't had a drop of alcohol today. Not for days, actually. :-)

I've popped back into Firefox to compare the duels. I think I've figured it out -- Chrome devotes more screen real estate to the duels, so they're bigger. At least on my computer, that's what it is. That's probably why the images look better.

Also, I think the background is more of a pure black in the duels in Chrome, while in Firefox it's more of a charcoal black. That would make the photos pop more too.

Very interesting.

Thanks Trish -- so far I'm noticing it IS faster. That's good! Thanks for your opinion ... right now I'm in full agreement :-)

Have you tried ctrl + or ctrl - to adjust the size. You should be able to do it with chrome, IE and FireFox.

I tried the Ctrl+ and Ctrl- to adjust the size ... it works great in both Firefox and Chrome, but doesn't make the photos any bigger in the duels in either browser. But it's a handy trick and thanks for that!!

Lenore, I just tried Google Chrome (had been using IE with an AOL browser since I have AOL email), which I had on my computer but wasn't using, and the photos in duels are about 10% larger and they are slightly clearer. I think you just made me a believer. :)

I'm glad it's not just my eyesight!

(BTW, I had terrible trouble using IE with Pixoto ....that is why I've been using Firefox for two years.)
