I posted two pictures yesterday. I got an award for the lower score one (603) but not for the higher scored (632). They changed the category of that picture but still I should have gotten the award. The link http://www.pixoto.com/images-photogra...

I'd like to say that the original category for this image was "Markets & Shops" which where this image was shot. You changed it to "Artistic Objects". You should have no issue with the posters choice of category as long it is relevant, the posters choice shouldn't necessarily match what you'd like it to be.

I had another image few days ago of a butterfly and flowers, I chose "Nature Up Close", you removed my score (607) completely and assigned the category "Insects" to the image, I had to remove it completely and lost my award. The image was about the butterfly AND the flowers, you saw only the "insect". You have no right to see my images for me, I'm the creator and see them the way I want to see them. This is about artistic freedom of expression.

Hello Khaled, since your photo was recategorized today, it can receive award at the time awards are assigned for photos posted today (tomorrow at 3pm GMT).

The photo was recategorized since the subject of the photo are objects in desplay.

About your photo of butterfly on flower, if it is this photo

http://www.pixoto.com/images-photogra...

butterfly is clearly subject in the photo.

I hope this helps.

No, I'm not getting it. Objects in display, "in a shop that is in a market". My selection was "Markets and Shops", how would you take a picture of a shop or a market without including the items on display?, and visa versa.
My other photo was about the butterfly "And" the two flowers not only the butterfly, thats why I chose "Nature up Close" not "Insects".
I think your re-categorizing of an image should be involved only when an image is waaaaaay off the right category.
