Voting is a fix

I had my suspicions that the voting was being rigged now I know it is. Out of 12 duels one of my images has been duelled 50% of the time against the same image. What a joke.

So it's a fix because of the 50% duel with same image, most is a loss and not a win to your image. Am I right?

Doesn't matter if it's a win or loss, 6 out 12 against the same image is not right.

The duels are supposed to be random, there is nothing random about that.

If your photo is really good for the voters then it would easily be a 12-0. Had it many times. It's actually a good advantage you know. IMO

I know why it happened, he re-submitted the image 6 times as he usually do, so it duelled to same image 6 times. Now I know Photography. :)

This from the cheat that's submits so many similar images that he is running out of angles to turn it. The photograph already won No 1 so there was no need to keep re-duelling it against the same image.

Hello Graham, there are a variety of reasons why an image will play the same image multiple times. Here are some of them:
1) small number of images in the subcategory (which is 2 out of 3 duels)
2) even smaller number of unpaused images in the subcategory that are also close to the same imagescore
3) when new images come in they need to duel with live images that are close in score and they rotate though the available images. So the later duels are not so much to find the correct score of this users images but instead to find the correct score of new image coming in.
Since each of the voters are different we believe that every vote is adding clarity to the ImageScore. In an ideal world we would not have images play each other many times - but given the size of certain categories as well as other things that limit the pool of images that can be played - it is unavoidable.

I hope this helps.

No explanation is enough for you, Graham. Time to quit and live in peace...It's just a suggestion, take it (and be happy) or leave it (and live in misery).
