Use Tags or Sub-categories / Filters to Pare Results

There are now a ton of photos on the site, it would be great to include the author's tags or standardized sub-categories to further classify photos. The Personal tags are fine for my favorites, but not usable for filtering. A tag or classification system could be used to select or slim down results. Photographers know how to tag their images the best.

Hey Tom!

I'm glad to see you're still checking Pixoto out! Your first idea regarding stock is something we have been talking about a lot lately.

This is another great idea! We actually have the EXIF data from the images and have it parsed out. Now we just need to start pulling it into our database and displaying it on the site. In addition, we need to build the filtering capabilities for tags. This is all necessary in order to begin offering stock and making the discovery of content easier.

Please continue sending along your thoughts as they continue to impress me! Thanks.

No problem Justin
I'd love to see Pixoto kick ass.

There are awesome photos on the site, and it would be great to get to them all.

When you're ready to discuss "stock" monetization, let me know and I'll give you a buyer's view.

What do you mean by stock. Can anyone get your pictures off the site and use them? Are they copyrighted or not?
