While I haven't seen that kind of error in years, essentialyy it means that you are trying to use an e-nail systen which can not be verified.

You can rexeuce e-mails but the system doesn't allow two way traffic.

This is reasonable if you thibk about it because it was a hugh security whole rgat enabled anyone to create mail accounts and send mail to and through it without having to confirm identity.

I have had websites over the years and could never use the zite's email syztem because of this

They just are not setup to xo reoly backs or address confirmation.

You will need ti creare either a gmail account or a Facebook account so tbat tbe email zyztem can verify your credentiaks.

Sounds like you tried to respond to an email with a "no reply" return address.

The "return address" can sometimes be different from the sender's main email address.

When this happens, the mail server sends an email back to you with a message similar to the one you describe.

If this is the case, there is no problem with your email address.

Unmonitored just means that "no warm blooded human being is going to read any replies... so please don't try to reply"

If you always use an automatic reply saying something like you're 'not available' or you're 'not by' your email or something like that, maybe that is the problem.

Johnny - An auto responder shouldn't trigger a message like that but I suppose it's possible.

A "no reply" return address looks much like this slightly modified one "antecnoreply@someaddress.net" from my case supplier Antec.

There is usually a notice with the email that states "Please do not reply to this automated email" or "Unmonitored reply address do not reply" or similar.

Nick Goetz, I never heard of that before. Is that something common email servers do, like Google? What would cause that?

If you mistype an email address causing it to be undeliverable, you would get a reply from the receiving server (xyz@sympatico.ca) - in this case the sympatico mail server would send their prepared response indicating that the recipient could not be reached.

Now let say you order something online and receive an email confirming your order. The originating email address might be xyz@cabellas.com BUT the reply to address might be noreply@cabellas.com. If you clicked on reply to respond to the email, it would be undeliverable and trigger a reponse to that effect - "Unmonitored email address.... or something to that effect"

I order my parts online and see those types of emails quite a lot.

I should add... It's done intentionally because the sender does not want any replies to the email.

Hi Rose, I did receive e-mail from you, but that is just e-mail notification about reply on this topic, it is not e-mail you have asked about when you opened the topic. Please try to find that e-mail and forward it to me.
