I'm trying to get to grips with what does and doesn't constitute a duplicate image - could someone take a look at these two and tell me whether the simple recoloration is sufficient to classify them as 'not similar'?

Thanks guys

Don't try to understand if it's duplicate, only Pixoto Team can tell. Of course it will depend on how they woke up this morning. :)

What about this one ? Coloration of a picture can make a big difference, however, this is one is just another shot with all the same adjustements.... but I guesss Garces and Garces is right, it really depends how they woke up....

In this case i think are similar but "different".

The look and the arm of the child i think makes the subject different despite whole image is "similar"

They have different EXIF data so I believe they are two different photos -- as for being "too similar", that's up to the Report Team to make their ruling.

Ulrich, they are not very similar images. The images have a very different message because of the way the child is looking.

I would say the first pair are the same picture and the second pair will be classed as different.

Agree. First pair imho makes nosense to have both in duels,despite the author can be very happy to win with both

So do you agree that this is different and not deleted? Because I have put some water on the reflection in one image to make it different. And it's two different shots.

I am not in a position to make certain decisions, maybe difficult;
it must do pixoto but in a serious, objective and consistent way

this is the really " borderline" case imho, don't know on which side must be put :)

The pair of photos that Tim posted have, I believe, the same EXIF -- I believe it is one photo with two different treatments. And that, I am positive, is not allowed.

Hello Tim, two links you posted about lighthouse are same (if we ignore color adjustment) and thus duplicate images which are not allowed. I will forward to report team to remove later one.
