The category sorting system is partially broken

In the past, when you used the drop down menu buttons to "Show Images In" to see only the images in a certain category, you could do that and see all the images that fit in that group. Lately, only the first 24 are actually in that group. Then the system randomly displays other images that are from totally different categories. This happens whether you sort from the "Leading" page or the "Recent" page. If you try to drill down to the sub-category level, it reverts back to "All Categories". However, if you go to sort images from the "My Pixoto Images" to enter them in a contest, the sorting system seems to be working properly there. I haven't tried it on other devices. This is happening on my PC using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge when viewed at 100% (showing four images across the screen).  If I reduce it to 80% (six images across), I can see as many as 30 before other images get thrown in there. It still kicks me back to "All Categories" if I try to drill down to the sub-category level.

I have noticed that too, thought it might correct itself but it hasn't.

Jasenka, have you heard anything from Scott? I use the sorting features a lot. It's frustrating that they are not working now.

Jasenka, I have not seen any improvement in the sorting system yet. Is it working for you? I suspect not since Michael has also experienced the same difficulty.

Also, I just tried to use the regular search button to look up another photographer. That one is totally useless too!

Sorting system still not working and I also have used it regularly in the past.
I have always found the regular search button 'flaky'.

I've been having the same problem. The search function on the contributor leaderboard doesn't work either: it tends to throw images out in no particular order, and misses some that I know are tagged with the keyword I searched with.

It worked for me when I selected Photography>Top Contributors (instead of Top Images) and then searched from there.

David, when you search on Contributor leaderboard (https://www.pixoto.com/players-all/al...) it gives user's profiles, not individual images. Are you searching on Contributor leaderboard or on Images leaderboard?

Sorry, I probably used the wrong terminology. I'm talking about the category sorting I get when I click on 'My Images'. I think that's the same problem everyone else here is having?

I, too, was wondering why the search engine wasn't working, and I couldn't see the images in a particular category.  Hope it gets fixed soon!

Jasenka, please contact Scott about this issue again. Sorting is one of the major features of Pixoto and it is so frustrating to not find the image I am looking for. This really impacts those of us who have been faithful Pixoto users for several years.

Ummm, I haven't seen Scott active on here for several weeks. I know that he has other endeavors that keep him busy at times. It's been a month since I last brought this concern up and still nothing. Please try again, Jasenka. Thanks.
