Surfing Shots at 10mm Focal Length Baffles Me

These are old shots but anyway, how can anybody shoot this with a 10mm focal length? Some are 3 years old but anyway...

Hmmm...he must be surfing too when he took the shot. Anyway, I googled him but he only showed on smugmug.

There's a golfer with the same name though.

Those are probably not the 35mm equivalents.

Just a wild guess... actual 35mm about 60mm???
