Jeff Rogers and Geoff Ogilzz seem to to be putting out spam comments for photos.

Jeff commented on one of my photos: love this, nicholas!!! you should totally put this and all of your work on photorankr.com. You'll definitely get a lot of recognition on their website and will get on their "Editor's Choice" gallery; check it out! https://photorankr.com/galleries.php?... (By the way, my name is not Nicholas!)

On the same day Geoff commented on a different photo: love this!!!! you should totally put this and all of your work on photorankr.com. You'll definitely get a lot of recognition on their website and will get on their "Editor's Choice" gallery; check it out! https://photorankr.com/galleries.php?...

They also both "liked" my photos and decided to follow me. They have no photos on Pixoto of their own. Looks like spam messages to me...

Thanks for the help. The spammed comments are gone, however the two people in question are still "following" me and have two of my photos (the ones that had the spam messages) marked as "favorites".

Who are the "killers" of high-ranking photos to Pixoto.com?!

It has happening these days, and this is one example from yesterday:
Under my photo: "Lace Lantern" (in that moment awarded by Day 1. and score of 722) I found this comment and after short research found as following:

(Molina's comment was) Joe Molina love this!!! you should totally put this and all of your work on photorankr.com. You'll definitely get a lot of recognition on their website and will get on their "Editor's Choice" gallery; check it out!https://photorankr.com/galleries.php?...

Few days ago I received still one comment by another person -Joe Ferenandez. For a few minutes the comment was deleted. My point of view is that's not good cutting the rules of players and I am not alone. These people can participate in duels as Pixoto.members. That is not kind nor helpful and often put bad impact to competition.

What is the most interesting, after short research I found that Joe Molina & Joe Ferenandez is the same person with two profiles on Pixoto.com, with the same icon, the same hometown (Princeton, NJ US), the same state and no one photos.
This is only one example...What can be done with people who are destroying the reputation of our site, killing high ranking photos to try to topple at any price achieved score, refuse new quality members to come on Pixoto. com?!!

Looks like there are organized teams who vote against high-ranking photos and their authors (I'm not, the only example). What can you do?

P.S. Yesterday Joe Molina = Joe Ferenandez deleted his comment

Hello Masica and everyone else. The Pixoto team was removing each comment manually. We now have put measures in place that ban a spammer whenever they post a url to that website or any other. We are sorry for the problem with the spam, if you have any left on your images feel free to delete it, just hoover right below the comment and a menu will appear, click the delete item in the menu and it will get rid of the comment.

If you see any new spam please report it, there is a Report link beneath the comments when you hoover over it.,

I want to thank the Pixoto team for doing its best in this problem!

As a professional Technician, I urge you, do not get upset at Pixoto! Cyber falsehoods (spam, malware, viruses, fishing and luring) is an ongoing issue on the World Wide Web... Just check your junk mail for proof!

lets try to move on in a positive manner, Pixoto has done nothing but help me feel better as an amateur photographer!
