Voting again very slow - quite a few challenges taking up duels.

Hi Rudy and Terry - Challenge voting is currently actually relatively low and today's images seem to be getting votes in aggregate at relatively normal levels.  Can you give me an example of what you are seeing?

Hi, Jason. When I voted earlier tonight there was quite a few challenge duels (more than I usually come across) for the challenges "black and white" and "reflections". At the same time the images I posted was sitting on the same amount of duels for some time despite a good win-loose ratio. I also noticed that the Top 10 images in some of the categories (eg flowers, artistic objects and black and white) scored lower than usual. However, after reading your reply, I checked the amount of duels and discovered that it is still on par with what Pixoto normally regards as a good amount of duels (in the region of 50 duels per image). It seems that the images that were dueled today do not have a good win-loose ratio, thus the low score. Regards.

Just voted again - of the 79 duels I participated in, 16 were challenges. I guess 20% is not such a bad margin. I also noted that there is a bit of movement on the leaderboard with images getting higher scores and more duels - perhaps indicating that more people are online and casting votes?

Resubmit the image you might get the duels to speed up.

I have uploaded few images last few days, duels 1 image 0 wins 7 losses, resubmit the image - 15 wins 0 loses, which is maybe why some images are going so slow.

Image got to 739 - 38 wins 13 losses Now 47 wins 29 losses, imagescore 720 but with frequent amount of losses on the same images that won against earlier.

Maybe problem with the duels there but there going crazy, going from line of wins to line of losses. I have been here for 1 year and have never seen them go like that lol

Hi Jamie. Congratulations on a good score! Sometimes I am flabbergasted when a image does so well, and then just go down hill from there on. I guess it just shows how people's perception of what they regard as a good image differs.

As per your suggestion, I did resubmit the images after a while just to get some movement again, but then I hit the negative wave of voting. LOL! However, I am persevering and resubmitted it again ...

Jamie, I'm observing the same pattern. The voting seems to be totally random. Some days, no matter what I upload, the result is disastrous. And yes, I'm getting tired of being duelled against the same images three or four times in a row. As for the challenges, I have much more than 20%...more like Terry says.

20% is normal.  50% is way to high.  But on average right now we are at 15%

I have observed that there has been bad voting for a week or so as Jamie has mentioned.
