Sorry to ask this again, but all the subjects I found so far have been closed for comments.
there is a guy who has about 40 similar images in his recent posts

I reported bu nothing happens. Another lady remarked the same in a comment.
In my way of thinking, it adds nothing to the fun if you run against the same pictures all the time. It also removes any initiative of uploading your own (magically, my own stuff started going down after the report)

OK dunno what is going on bu it should be the same rule for all

Hello Annette, as per our rules: https://www.pixoto.com/photography-co...

"NO VERY SIMILAR IMAGES: You may submit an unlimited number of images but each one must be significantly different from the others. This means only one image of any subject and scene/pose combination is allowed. The only exceptions are that you may have a duplicate of a color photo in the black and white category and you may use other images you have submitted to create unique works of digital art. You may delete an image and resubmit it at any time. If reported, and we agree that the images are not distinct enough, the newer image will be deleted."

So in short: images are very similar if they have the same subject and the same scene/pose.

On images, you listed above, the subject is different (they are different flowers) and/or pose/scene changes (in case subject is the same), so by our definition, these images are not very similar.

I hope this helps.

Annette, you say yourself - they are different flowers - meaning different subjects - so by our definition, they are not very similar images.

I entered one of the contests awhile back (Christmas nativity images, I believe). There were maybe 100 entries at the time. Forty of them were from the same photographer and were just different angles of her nativity set! Some were blurry! And people were voting for them!!!

Yes they probable vote like they shoot and subir.. blind. I was fuming when a bloke submitted the same badly filtered heavily trafficked image twice to contests that were explicitly no heavy filtering natural light challenges. Is he blind? More, he submits packs of images
