This is my leader-board for that week http://www.pixoto.com/images-photogra... and this is my award http://www.pixoto.com/awards/117875904.
How can i be awarded with #1 for a week and when i search for that week i am on #3?
Anyway there were only 252 images submitted that week so i am not after a money. I just want to know how do we claim and check if we are legible for cash prize if this is the case, for future, it might happen that there were more than 1000 images that week?

Congrats for the first place for the week. What has happened is that at the time the awards where given you where in first spot but since that time (as voting has continued) it has dropped to 3rd.

I'll leave the second part of your question to Pixoto or someone that has been in the position of winning and claiming a monetary prize.

Thanks Mark. Oh, so the score that shows there is actually score that image has currently. So maybe #1 and 2 were resubmitted afterwards and received 765?
But if that's the case why that image shows in that week, clearly it would fall under the following week because it has been resubmitted. I mean this is just silly then, don't you think?
Other explanation would be that after week ended #1 managed to get +60 score above mine ... do you know how hard is to do that, lol? Any movement in 700+ makes very small steps, means it managed to win every single duel for quite some time, absolutely amazing in that case, don't know what else to say.
Anyhow, just wanted Pixoto to clear this for me because it's confusing and don't want to have unpleasant surprises if i ever need to claim, most likely not but who knows.

Images submitted during the same week as yours are also still competing and images submitted late in the week may have only just started competing so were rising as the week ended. Remember we also give out awards for best of the month and best of the year, so your image will keep on competing, especially since it scored well, with other images on the rise for the monthly and yearly placements.

Hello Nikola,

When you win a 1st place prize for the week, in a category that has 1000 entries or more (you know this but others reading may not) you submit a claim at http://www.pixoto.com/claim-prize and please be aware it can take up to 60 days for the prize money to be awarded.

Thanks Sherry, is there any easy way to know how many images were submitted in that week for that category? For future reference ...

If you open the #1 image in the image detail view (large view) then hoover your mouse over the #1 for the week award you will see the Points. Take the number and divide it by 6 and you will have the number of entries in the category for the weelk.

So an example this image was #1 last week in Abstract http://www.pixoto.com/images-photogra...

The points earned are 3390 divided by 6 is 565 so there were 565 entries in Abstract for the week.
