I see a lot of photographs that are reposted - some back from the days of 2012. Is this accepted practice? i.e. can I take my best photographs from 2012 and post them again just to win......doesn't seem correct?

Hi Derek, you can not resubmit your best photo ́s. The system will not allow you to do, if the photo had a best of 5%award. Only photo ́s with a 10% or 20% award you may submit again.

Hello Derek, if user post duplicates of their older photos that is against the rules and please report such cases.

If this doesn't help, please let me know.

Well unfortunately I cannot prove that some have been taken down and resubmitted but it is very interesting to see that they were taken in 2011 and 2012 and submitted now and I recognise them. They could of course just be very similar, i.e. from the same shoot in which case I would be technically wrong. There are cases which can be seen of people just changing a colour pic to B&W and resubmitting. That can be seen as both are present on the portfolios. What about this practise?

One can submit black and white photos in the Black and White category and the same version in color in another category. That is allowed on Pixoto.

If the user deleted his older photo and resubmit it that is allowed (however in the process all points and awards that photo won will be lost). I was saying that there should be no duplicate photos in a portfolio (one photo is already in the portfolio submitted in 2012, and the exactly same one is submitted today).
I'm sorry if I was unclear.

User is allowed by Weekly contest rules (which can be seen in this link http://www.pixoto.com/photography-com...) to have one black and white version of color photo, providing that black and white version is submitted to Black and White Category.

Hope this helps.

Absolutely not. You do your job very well. Sometimes I think how do you manage all these queries and complaints.
