RAW File request

When someone wins a category does Pixoto admin request a RAW file by way of proof that the picture was actually taken by them before issuing the cash prize?

That's a good idea, but some point and shoot do not support RAW files.

Thats fair enough but you should still be able to supply an original pre edited file straight from the camera to go at least some way to demonstrating authorship (if there is such a word lol)

Yes, I so agree with this. I think when there is a question about the validity of a photograph, a category, being a duplicate, this is the proof needed!!

Whilst I agree with you Shirley I was more concerned about the possibility of simply buying pictures off sites such as istock and then submitting them to win money prizes

Not everyone uses RAW.......but I do agree that some misuse other peoples pictures......

It doesn't need to be a RAW file just an original unedited file
