How to use Points for best photographer of the year-end, what matters is the total number of images or the number of seats won first place in the course of the year.

Hello MojKutak, it all depends on category the user is submitting most and winning high places, since some categories (ones with lots of photos in them) have higher points awarded for first place photos then others.

Hope this helps.

whether the final calculation accounts place the picture won or the number of points earned, because after the tenth place to see a number of photos received the same number of points, what is crucial?

If you're asking how The Best Photographers of the Year are selected, it is done by averaging your top ten scores in the categories where you have submitted at least ten images. Usually, the twenty highest averages in each category receive the red Best Photographer banner and under Accolades in your profile it will show where you finished in the top 20.

This link shows that you are currently in 4th position for your country in 2013

Photographers of the year are not given for each country but is based on your average score from your best pics in each category.

I know that the current account status, but I was wondering the exact calculation of the best photographer for the end of the year in a particular category, specifically the wedding for me is important, if I can calculate my current status and that I'll be ranked at the end of the year,
thank you

You are currently number 3 in weddings

You cannot calculate your position for 2013 at this stage. It depends on you average score for your top pics. you may have 100 great wedding pics and the person coming first at this time may have 500 not so great pics but the shear volume of pics and their score may place them higher in the aggregate score now. The final positions for 2013 probably will not be known for another 6 weeks.

Dejan, as mark explained you can not now calculate your rank that will be at the end of the year (when The best Photographer of the year are selected). And besides that, more daily, weekly and last yearly awards still needs to be assigned.

As John explained, it is done by averaging your top ten scores in the categories where you have submitted at least ten images, or if you are interested in just one category, by averaging ImageScore of your best 10 images submitted in the category in question during 2013.

Hope this helps.
