I am very confused. I am a Pro member because I always like supporting these style sites. But I feel I am not competing photo vs photo, but more my photo's vs photoshop.

Hi Stephen,

I don't represent Pixoto—just adding my 2 cents. I originally felt similarly to what you describe, until I realized that instead of "photo vs. photo" it's "image vs. image".

The Pure Photo tag (as I interpret it) means that the photo is minimally touched: sharpened, enhancing contrast a little but not radically, etc. I agree that it's rare to see photos that are straight out of the camera, but I've gotten to where that doesn't bother me so much.

There are, however, some images competing here which I think ought to have been categorized as "Digital Art", rather than whatever category they may actually appear in.

Good luck, and have fun.
