provision of an 'others' subcategory under public holidays category would be awesome

provision of separate subcategory like(others) under 'public holidays' category would be very much appreciated since the subcategories available are mostly western and there are many equally tempting public holidays and festivals in asia as well......

I agree that we should not ignore holidays that are important to people in the global community found at Pixoto. There are even other great western holidays, too, Neil.

Neil, Pixoto used to have that but it was abused terribly by people who chose to put their vacation photos there. (In some countries, "holiday" means vacation.)

It became unmanageable for Pixoto, I think, as just about every photo in there always needed to be moved.

I don't think this whole category is used correctly as it is without adding other back to be honest. In the UK holiday means a vacation by the way.

there are many kinds of people in world and i am not biased against any body or any culture but i fell like this category deserves a second chance...there are many festivals like indian holi or spanish tomatina festivals which are being neglected and which i think are very tempting to phtograph(i hope i dont seem to be obstinate or insulting any one because i surely dont mean to)
