I've been trying to upload a photo and when it's done, it says processing your beautiful image.....please hold on' The first time, it sat there for 3 days! I've tried a few more times with the same outcome. I'm uploading using Google Chrome and the photo meets all size and format requirements.

Thanks!

Terri - is it just one image that you are having this problem with? If so is it less than 4000 pixels in each dimension? You can feel free to send me an email with the image and I will try to upload it for you to see what the problem is. jason [at] pixoto.com

Thanks Terri for sending me the file. It looks like our system may be having problems with very large (i.e. 25 mb) PNG files. Converting to jpeg solved the problem.

License for stock requires 4 MB pictures but in the meantime why do Pixoto limit the image size to 4000 pixels in each dimension ? This bring some more constraint (checking) and implies to generate a specfic Pixoto format size instead of having a full size image for each image stock I'm registered to.
Moreover, when submitting an image to Pixoto, why the system doesn't check and tell us that the dimension is not respected instead of displaying a "Processing your beautiful image....please hold on" message that makes us think that it's gonna be okay when processed ?

This post is out of date. We no longer have the 4000x4000 pixel restriction. We are however experiencing some other problem with some files which we are still trying to track down. If you have this issue please feel free to send me the original file and I will try to upload it to see if I can diagnose the problem... jason@pixoto.com
