Pro membership - guaranteed duels

I understand that having a Pro membership my images are guaranteed 100 duels and that if an image is not in the top 10% then duels will occur at a slower rate that top rated images.

This I accept, however how slow is slow?

I have two images, one submitted on 10th August some 7+ weeks ago stuck on 98 duels (score 556), the other submitted 16th August some 6+ weeks ago stuck on 97 duels (score 548).

Surely this shows how some members, including myself, are becoming frustrated.

I appreciate that duelling depends on members voting but it seems there maybe a glitch happening here.

Hello Michael, usually images that are in the top 10% or all images in category (which is about 615 projected score) will gain quicker duels then images below that score. We are primarily focused on determining the correct position of top images in the category because there is quite a difference between places points for awards, while images with lower scores will receive fewer duels (if an image is in top 10% in the category with, as an example, 300 images, it will still get the same points for top 10% award if it is in 16th or 30th place.
Also, score changes on win/loss near 100 duels are very low so images will only gain/loss a small amount of score which will not result in significant placement change.

That being said, your images will still get their guaranteed duels, yet on much slower pace then top rated images.

Jasenka, thank you for your response, however I did pre-empt this albeit briefly at the start of my question.

I had intended and planned a longer reply but suffice it to say that nearly eight weeks for a middle scoring image to achieve its allocated 100 duels (as a pro member) is surely too long and must be a concern to Pixoto.

I would be interested to read Scott's comments on this matter.

Hello Michael, please provide links to your images that are not getting votes.  No image should be stuck with less than 100 votes.

Thank you for your response Scott, links below:

If you look through my gallery you will see there are others below 100 duels albeit lower scoring images and I am not too worried about these as I tend to delete images if they are not going to reach more than 525.

I hope you are able to help.

Hi Michael, I double checked all your images. They should all be receiving votes now.  If you see an image that has less than 100 votes and has not received a vote in more than 48 hours, let us know.

Chatenet, your comment if I may say so is a little unfair. The problem addressed was a historic one dating back to the beginning of August and only involve a couple of votes.
It had nothing nothing to do with what has happened in the few days of which a lot of my images also suffered.

Thank you MOORE for the lesson... It is nevertheless true that the current situation is very slightly painful.
