Privacy Policy re Government ID Submission for stock

I have a couple of questions about the ID required to become a stock contributor. I do not suspect for a moment that Pixoto has any hidden agenda in collecting this information (or I wouldn't be here) but releasing such sensitive documents in anything other than a face-to-face scenario is a very serious consideration for me, and I'm sure for others. Perhaps you could address the following?...

1) Is the government ID supplied to you upon registering considered personally identifiable non-public information therefore will be protected in the manner described in your Privacy Statement?

2) I intend to fax my ID, how do you protect hard copy material? Your Privacy Statement only refers to sensitive/credit information submitted through your secure server.

3) Are you happy for me to watermark the image before faxing to prevent unauthorized reproduction in the event of the failure of your protection measures re question 2?

Many thanks.

Thanks for your questions Andy.

1) We use a much higher level of security for IDs than for other non-public information. It is all kept behind a firewall only accessible to designated Pixoto employees.

2) Hard copies are kept in a locked file cabinet in my office

3) You can watermark - that's fine.
