Posting a challenge for your own pictures?

Mina Jaguar creates a challenge just for his own purposes? It's a challenge, but it's just for his own pictures and voting system. What the? If every member would do this, it would be very annoying. Can you please remove this challenge that is not even a challenge?

Well, that certainly makes a mockery of "community" challenges!

(Also, that makes it a rigged or fixed challenge, just a way to get the prize credits. I hope Pixoto removes this asap and institutes rules so it won't happen again.)

Hello Trudie and Lenore, if you are referring to two judges awards that he has, that was prior to introducing rule that you can not enter your photos in challenge that you have created and judge's award is chosen by moderator.

Currently when you create a challenge you need to select how the judges award will be assigned. And if you choose that you will assign the award then you may not enter the challenge.

Jasenka, this person has a challenge running right now where nobody can enter except himself. So he gets the credits for creating a challenge and then he'll win all the credits for first place, second place, and third place. This just isn't right.

Thank you so much for posting the link. I went through the challenges and found only 2 from this user which were allowing all users to enter, I must have overseen this one.

I will forward the information to the management.

Hi all, challenges like this one are allowed, but they should not be listed in the directory.

Jasenka, one of the guidelines we are all supposed to follow is that if we know who the photographer is when voting, we are supposed to click Skip. Well, this duel is titled with the name of the photographer -- so isn't it wrong for anyone to vote in it? When this challenge starts popping up in the duels, everyone is going to know who the photographer is!

Hi Lenore, in this situation it doesn't matter if you know who the photographer is because there can't be any bias.

To add further comment to this, I have also noticed challenges that have such an incredibly short window to enter, that only the moderator, and a select few, have an opportunity to enter. When the challenge says "24 Hours"...that makes sense, and is a different story. But others offer so little time, it's almost not fair. I would like to see a 72 hour minimum window for deadlines instituted. Or...challenges should have to reach a minimum number of entries..maybe 100?... before voting is off and running.
