Then, why am I breaking the resolve? Because, it really pains me to see such a nice framework go waste. Atleast, that is what I sense at this juncture.
Why remember the story? Because, IMHP, pixoto is doing exactly against what the story preached.
I see many members raising genuine concerns on variety of topics, but seldom do I see any worthwhile response from pixoto. The responses are mostly limited to piecemeal measures, which possibly curb the concerns temporarily without pixoto making any changes that are suggested by the members.
I do not know how others feel, but this is how I have changed. I stopped voting. I started opening contests. Does it alarm anyone? God knows. But what if such members are increasing? To drive home the gravity of situation, let me try and show the other extreme. All members stop voting. There is a problem. All members also start opening contests. The problem is bigger. Much bigger than pixoto may fathom. Consequences? Piles of voting required, with no one voting. Will pixoto work in such a situation? Definitely not.
What is happening now is probably the initial stages of this event.
Why did I stop voting? Because I did not have time to waste on insensitive people. On someone, who would not value my time.
Why did I start opening contests? Because it will give me easy credits.
Come on Pixoto. Make some sense out of a beautiful setup you have created. Respect and value the time of the members. Institute methods on the site, which make things easy for us and prevents wastage of time on trivial or non essential issues. Take some responsibility for the contents you get on your site.
Time is running. Many others may also be running along. God bless.
