I think moderators should examine all the contests people have and enter. The last two contests I've entered was "Blue Eyes" and "Bridges at Sun Down." The first place winner in the blue eye contest entered a picture of an iguana and it didn't even have blue eyes! The other contest, the first place winner had the crappiest quality picture. It was 80% noise! There were so many higher quality pictures in each contest and the 2 first place winners were a joke. Come on guys...

Hello Jason, as explained on Contest page - Community Photo Contests are created and moderated by Pixoto members (users) and not Pixoto staff.

I hope this helps.

Yes, I know it is moderated by the users. Hence, my report, to change it to employees.

@Jason: If you mean the Contest "Bridges in nightfall" then i confess that i was the Moderator.
For your information, if you didn`t notice,

You and everybody else could read who will be judging, in particular:
"Judge's Award will be chosen by Pixoto Voters".

If Pixoto Voters love and vote for the "crappiest quality picture" whith "80% noise" its there decission and right. This is democracy, whether the moderator or you agree whith the results.

What would you have done as Moderator??????????

Have to agree with Renos on this one. We might not agree with their decisions, but if the voters here choose something you consider substandard, then that's how it is.
We can't get Pixoto employees to monitor the regular categories, never mind the contests.
