I posted a snail in Animals , sub category OTHERS. Now I see that people have placed pictures of a Waterbuck,Monkeys and an Elephant into the ..Other Category instead of in the Mammal Category. Please can you re direct the pictures to the right Category

Mickey, I don't work for Pixoto, but I believe that I know the answer to your question. Pixoto does not reclassify sub-groups. The reason is that sub-groups do not have much impact on your score. Your snail competes against all images in the animal category. Awards are only given for the main category, not the sub-groups. While it makes searches easier if an image is in the proper sub-group, it does not impact awards. I hope that helps. I'm sure that Jasenka will be on here soon and will further clarify if this explanation is not correct.

Hello Mickey, as SweetNana explained above, all images in one category will duel each other regardless of subcategories because awards are assigned on category level. In your case, your snail will duel horses, birds, monkeys, elephants and other animals that belong in Animal category regardless of subcategory they are entered to. Subcategories are for organizational purpose.
