This is very disgusting . I regularly VOTE in this group to earn Points so that I can Submit my Photo. But some unknown reason my Photos get paused immediately after I submit it . WHY ??

Hello Rajen, please see this page - http://www.pixoto.com/about

Specifically this part: "Why is my image "Paused"?

Images get paused if they are statistically unlikely to move up to the
top 10% of all images (approximately 615 ImageScore). Sometimes we
determine this within this within 6 duels sometimes it takes 100. The
key is that in order to provide good clarity into which images are in
the top 10 we must vote the best images a lot. With a limited amount of
duels available to us the best way to accomplish this is by pausing
images once we've determined that they are not likely to get near the
top. We use statistics so by definition we are not 100% confident that
the image should be paused and so to address this issue we added the
"get more votes" feature (the "play" button on the leaderboards). Under
certain circumstances Paused images may still be placed in to duels and
may be unpaused automatically."

If images get duels quickly in the beginning, and they are statistically
unlikely to move up to the top 10%, they will be paused early after
uploading, but never before 6 imageduels.

I hope this helps.

I don't think that this is fair. When I joined Pixoto it was not so . That time I used to submit my photos almost daily. But when I noticed that you are doing this, I avoid submitting my photos. Now my question is why don't you leave our photos for direct image dual system ? Why you force our photos to go up if it's standard is not up to the mark ?

Hello Rajen, lower scored images will usually end up with 4 times less image duels then highest scoring images. In order to determine which image will be 1st, 2nd, 3rd and so on, we need to duel higher rated images more, because there is difference if image ends in first, second, third and so on place, and there is not much difference if image will end up in 134th or 135th place.

I hope this helps.
