Pending review?? for stock photos. Does this mean that my photo is being reviewed to be a stock photo?

Yes, that means the image is waiting for someone from Pixoto to review the image. We are currently building out our review process so we can begin reviewing stock image submissions shortly.

Hey Justin, I have an image with a "Pending Review" status although I have not yet completed the ID upload step for stock licensing. That in itself doesn't really matter except it was about second or third in a category in Sept but I don't have a monthly award for it yet. Could this be connected to the pending status or is there a delay / problem with Sept monthly awards? Thanks.

Hey Andy, We do have some data cleanup to do on our end. When we first released License for Stock, there were some bugs that caused images that should not have been set as stock images to have one of the statuses set to stock. If you haven't submitted your ID yet, your images won't be reviewed and therefore won't be made available to license. We also plan to clean the data up.

As for the monthly award, we haven't run September monthly awards yet. I would expect we would do that sometime this week.

Are you planning to become a Stock Contributor?

Cheers Justin - much appreciated. No worries re the award, whenever, just thought it may have been connected to the pending status but clearly not. Yeah, I'd like to do the stock thing - just need to look into the T's and C's a bit more first. If I'm completely honest - and no reflection on Pixoto per se - I was a bit uncomfortable about providing a copy of my goverment ID - it's not something I have ever been asked to do before and I just wanted to think twice about the implications.

Hey Andy, it's actually standard practice for stock contributors to provide a photo ID to stock sites. We are essentially following the best practice.

I presumed that was the case Justin but just wanted to check it out first. I'm sure I'll be completing the ID process very soon. Many thanks for your prompt and helpful replies.
