Poor quality images are rising and great images are stuck up 400-500 score. Voting is not fair here on Pixoto.

This discourages the photographers. Pixoto should fix this.

Hello Dipali, we have voting check system in place that will monitor duels and prevent users that vote in suspicious manner.

That being said, some users vote for image they like more, and it doesn't need to be image with more technical quality, it can be something they just like more.

I hope this helps.

Thanks Jasenka for your reply.

I have been removing pictures as they do not get the deserved scores.

I have examples for biased voting-
1. Landscapes

2. Artistic Objects

I would suggest to allow us to resubmit photos even if the have received a daily award of #1, #2, #3 etc awards since pictures end up getting an award at a low score of (eg : http://www.pixoto.com/images-photogra...) 616 and then you cannot resubmit them or delete and submit them again.

All this resubmitting takes a lot of time, credits and energy which we should be using to making great images instead of on the computer resubmitting the images which do not get good scores. Or, I think it would be better to take down the images that do not do well here before they receive the awards. Sorry, I am frustrated.

Hi Dipali, as you know, over 3 years ago we removed ability for users to delete or resubmit high awarded images - http://community.pixoto.com/pixoto/to...
because users would on daily bases resubmit images that they thing didn't get high enough score or high enough place.
For high awarded image if you want it removed you can still do it by sending e-mail and asking for it to be removed.
Or, as you mentioned yourself, you can delete image yourself before it won award.

I am being persistent here as I want things to work out.

Yet another example of bad voting. I do not call this preference. Some out of focus, low light images winning over this image of three Chrysanthemums. No one will call these aesthetically pleasing compared to Chrysanthemums. I am sure if I post one of these snapshots, they will be stuck at a score of 200.

I am pretty sure that there is a lot of friends voting for friends and down voting going on here.

Also, please tweak your algorithm such that if a good image loses to a lower quality image ( technically and aesthetically) it can regain it's score if the image deserves a better score. If this cannot be fixed then I think the whole voting system is flawed. You cannot bring out the best images to the top. Pixoto should employ a review team like all other stock image sites for the users who put their images in the market.

There seems to be more rush voting on here now.

Maybe Pixoto should have several seconds delay lock before voting on each image.

In my view, Pixoto will never be a fair voting system since everyone can vote, even if they have no technical knowledge. I have also noted on many of my photos that votes stopped and scores don't go up to 600+. I don't have an Pro account that automatically gets allocated 100 votes, maybe that's why. I am a professional photographer with constantly good images, but I'm not going to buy into the Pro account just to get that benefit. I'm rather contemplating leaving Pixoto for a better system, very soon.

Voting system is not perfekt .
On the other hand .I have noticed that some users . keeps on subnmitting pretty much the same pic
s over and over again,
that goes especially to the , animal and flower section .
the same tigers the same eagels the same flower ,
day after day .
maybe we could have a block system so we don ́t need to vote at the same pic evrey day . ?

I have now decided that I'm not going to bother with pixoto anymore. I posted 3 images that were all of very good quality and have won awards, yet once posted on here they lose over and over again to awful snapshots. I realise that there is an aspect of personal preference to an image you like, but these are terrible photos that I'm losing out to. What's the point?
