I entered a photo containing a squirrel in the background category. It was pulled and recategorized after 1 hour on a Sunday morning no less. The letter contained a link to the category descriptions but there isn't a listing for backgrounds. Currently there are closeups of flowers and a man on an elephant that I know were reported by others but haven't been pulled. How can a photograph be disqualified if there are no guidelines listing what is allowed? Why are so many miscategorized photos, in all categories, left up, sucking up votes for legitimate photos?

My advice would be to report anything that doesn't fit the category, and then also provide a link to the reported photo on this forum.

Hi Deanna,

The Backgrounds category is going to be closed, so no new images are being allowed to the category from what I understand.

Please report any mis-categorized images that you run across, we are trying to get the categories cleaned up but we can not monitor every category 24 hours a day for new uploads.
