My picture received an award as a rising star and was paused on the same day. Why?

I uploaded a photo a couple days ago. This morning, I received an email saying it was awarded a Rising Star award for the category. Immediately after that, I received another email saying it was paused and I need to resubmit it (for 10 credits) or unpause it (for more credits).

That makes no sense to me. Why would it be paused when it was still trending up?

Hello D'Arcy, images from new users can receive Rising star award if they place in top 50% of images in Category (above 50% and below 20%).
Images can get paused if it is statistically unlikely for them to be in top 10% of images in Category.

Since your image was in top 50% it received Rising star award, however since it is statistically unlikely for it to reach top 10% of Category, the image was paused. You can always un-pause image if you think the image can get a higher score.

I hope this helps.
