Sorry to bring one more, but browsing thru the Leader Board I found this photographer, he takes beautiful portraits, but the one he posts are very much the same, from one I even have the idea it's a crop.
It's so unfair people doing this, I hope he is proud of himself, winning awards this way.

I believe Jason has been aware of this situation and said that it was going to be looked at.

I agree with you Karen. It is a shame that the photographer can not be more creative and varied in his choices for photos. He seems to be more concerned with awards and points than with originality. His photos and models as you say are beautiful but it seems if you have seen one of his photos you have seen them all they are so alike. We call these people one trick ponies. They are truly great at doing one thing only. These were uploaded before the new rules went into effect so I don't know if anything will be done about it by Pixoto but I hope he reads this and decides to show us we are wrong by uploading more variety. IMHO
PS..
Try not to let it get to you to much or it will make you crazy. :)

Lets hope the new rules will make people think twice, but to be honest, I doubt it.

Jason agreed that some of the images are breaking the old rules (see the link I gave above). So yes, something could be done about them.

I have clicked on the report link and reported the 2 photos in question. The rest is up to Pixoto since they are not duplicates they need to take their time and make sure they make the right decision. Please make sure you use the report link as well. The more people that report the better the chances are that it will be taken care of.

It is difficult to decide which photos are too similar when the only photos a photographer knows how to take is of one subject and one pose because realistically they are all pretty much the same. :)

Thomas Kinkade painted more than 1,000 pieces on various topics, including cabins, nature scenes, seascapes and classic American. His many galleries in shopping malls and shops made him a lot of money.

He found a single basic style, tone and subject and marketed it. Many artists called it kitsch, merely pretty, too sentimental, too restricted.

Was he bad for doing that? Was he an artist, or just a solid worker with good business instincts?

We all use Pixoto for our own purposes. Some want the prizes, and are willing to limit their subject matter to get them. Some want the experience of a wide variety of subjects and styles, despite the personal risks, prize-wise.

Others like to assume a plonking style of writing, and philosophize extemporaneously about esoterica with which i have no experience, skills, training or rowboat in the waterway of life in the fast lane.

No, it's true.

Don't agree with you, I take loads and loads of pictures of dogs, mostly my own. But that doesn't mean I'll upload them all here.

And everybody wants the prize, if you upload to Pixoto. If you only want to show what you've been doing, you upload them to Flickr/500pix or other sites like that.

I think that this is not fair. So a professional with professional models and photographs of equipment and the central images and put them on Pixoto crowd and other players have nothing to ask.
