Please explain to me why three of my images where removed, the reason stated in email was similar images, but they were the bw versions submitted to the bw category??!!!!!!???? seriously not cool at all

It was said that we could enter one of each in each category, bw and the other of our choice. This is insanity. and so wrong.

Are you going to remove every bw duplicate, and if so wouldn't have been the right thing to do, to inform us????
I just don't understand why its so hard for you to get it right, why should your users have to pay the price for the lack of communication on your parts?

I lost a ton of points and credits on these photos- what kind of scam are you running really?

It hasn't only happened to me, so we ALL know there is a meltdown somewhere in your systems.

so what i would like to know is why you didn't tell Leizel- who seems to be deleting images you said where allowed. why don't you tell this person to focus on the real problems

I already know you wont fix it , how--- bc i have an email saying you would before and never did, empty promises. I deserve better, in fact you entire community does. YOU won't respond to 95% of your users post, but we know you see them. Thanks

Black & White – Here’s a place for just black & white photos of any sort (and slightly sepia too). Note that you can include a Black & White version of a color photo from another category here without violating the “very similar image” rule.

Graham - we do allow an additional black and white version of a color image on the site - so these images are OK. However we are modifying the rule to require that the black and white version be in a Black & White category. "

thanks Jane, it really makes no sense, bc it is only a few people who are having images removed while many many many others remain. it feels a bit like they are being discriminatory.

I don't understand the lack of response? Is this a new rule or what is going on, please be dignified and answer, it is the least you can do.

Sorry to repeat myself (I have just answerd you in other thread you opened), if b&w version of colored version is submitted in B&W category it is allowed. However, if you already have color version of photo, you can not submit b&w version to the same (not B&W) category.
For instance, you submit color version of photo to Landscape category. You can not submit b&w version of same photo in Landscape category (it will be deleted as duplicate) but you can submit b&w version of same photograph to B&W Category.

I Haven't asked for the theory of evolution to be explained to me, I asked a simple question which has a simple answer, yet...none has been offered.
why is that? If Management was informed of this, why is there no response?

this is the very definition of adding insult to injury.

Yes my original post was written with anger, and i feel justified in that and Pixoto as a company, has an obligation to at the very least explain, why I have been singled out of close to a thousand bw duplicates. when in fact no rule was broken, except the rule of good business and customer service on your part.

After carefully reading the TOS I am aware that you do not have to answer my question, it is at your sole discretion to do whatever you like, BUT a response would be the RIGHT thing to do Sir, and I feel you inherently know this, but are in a bit of a pickle bc your team did mess up.
Can't you at the very least acknowledge that and offer some kind of apology?

I apologize for my post, as I said before i am frustrated by this and I am not the kind of person who just lets others take advantage of me, I am outspoken. I know this is hardly the way to get your attention, but i feel I haven't had many choices in doing so.

For the sake of what is right Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee acknowledge me.

Thanks so much , I really really appreciate the action you guys took. Just a couple of small things ...my image count is off, as also are the award count, and credit haven't shown up. thanks again. my faith is restored and i am very grateful.

Hi Lori, just to be sure before asking our tech to take a look, your image count is different (less or more then actual number of photo online), and same is about your awards, right? I will re-request that credits are added, I'm sorry about delay.
