Dueling has ceased. History remains the same but duels or voting is not paused.

Our system periodically will focus votes on certain weeks if more votes are needed there. Please give it 24 hours and if it doesn't change let us know.

An image stops dueling or almost does. It isn't paused awaiting me to buy more duels.

My image score has not changed in a couple of days as it has not been involved in image duels and I should point out it is not paused. The top 3 or four in the Gary Fong contest do not come up in duels. If images are active they should be in rotation to come up in duels just as images with lower scores. By not doing so your higher scored images stay at the top and never falter in scores. Although my image is near the top spot it will never be able to move to the top spot if it is not given a chance to duel

I see this same thing occur and I don't understand the lack of dueling either.

The more duels an image has - the less likely to duel it is. Essentially its place it pretty well established and we need to wait for more images to come in. The bulk of duels go to new images. So it is pretty likely that an image that comes in to a contest will get a bunch of duels up front, then slow to a crawl or stop altogether and then get one last batch of duels at the end. Over time it will continue to get duels - but only sporadically.

Hope this helps...

Well I just uploaded a photo and it's not doing anything - not dueling anywhere - what's the deal?

I still question the non-dueling of images. i.e. I have an image that quit dueling (Pets/Horses) at 202 duels whereas others in the top slots have continued in varying amounts up to 230 duels. Mine has ceased for close to 24 hours but others are continuing to duel way past mine.
What would be your reason(s) for some to continue dueling and others not to in this specific instance? Again why are specific images not dueling and others are?
Thank you.

Images with higher imagescores now get more duels than those with lower scores. This is so that we can have better vetting of images at the top of the leaderboard. Once an image has reached the same level of imagescores as the average of those around it - duels will slow down dramatically (a virtual stop in some cases)

Hope this helps.
