Please show the image score without hovering over the image. Earlier we could see the image score at once but now we have to hover over the image. The main purpose of a profile page for a photographer/user/player is to know where their photos stand in the competition but now it takes a lot of time to view the score of each image. This view is excellent for the buyers as they just need to see a thumbnail of the image, but we users/players need to know the score as it's a competition site too. Hope you understand. Also, viewing score of an image is even harder on the phone. The image gets clicked while touching it and one has to press Back button to go back to the profile page just to see the score of another image. I read in another thread that there will be an iPhone and Android application soon, but the non touch screen users too have a difficulty in viewing the score. Please bring back the image scores as before or in another way which could suit everyone's purpose, otherwise it's a great layout. Thanks!

I disagree Dipali. You say "The main purpose of a profile page is for a photographer/user/player to know where their photos stand"

But i would think the main purpose of a profile page is to allow us a platform to share. Art & photography is a beautiful thing & were extremely lucky to have the internet to allow us to share out work.

Now...not that i disagree with the competativness aspect....i would rather see a photo with less distracting text over it. I think Pixoto's new look is very good & works well.

Not sure why Pixoto should change this just to suit a few members. Afterall....dealing with the rest of your requests must taken them enough time already.

Don, I do not have a problem the way images are displayed in the category view or the Art shop or the Stock images page i.e. without any text on the images, but profile specially Recent page is like a dashboard where we manage our images and that is why I had requested to view the score of the images. I am not insisting them to be on the image, they could be below the images too, but they should be visible to get an overview of the image. We might not agree on this, just my opinion. :)

Dipali, I absolutely agree with you. Don, when we are logged into our own accounts, it should be for our own benefit. When I go look at your account, for example, I don't care about seeing your scores etc, but I sure as heck want to see image information when I am looking at MY photos.

Don, here's what I mean: a profile page serves two very different purposes -- one for the person looking at it, and one for its owner. The profile page should look different, depending on whether you're looking at someone else's profile, or your own.

Dipali, on my iPad, I discovered last night that if I press down on the photo for a couple of seconds, rather than tap it, when I lift my finger the image scores and the boost/unpause buttons are there, but the photo did not open up. If I just tapped the photo, it opened up. Don't know if that helps you or not.

But you can see your score. With your mouse, your finger. Whatever device or method you choose. You can see it.

The problem you all have is that its not right there for you. Whats 1 second of effort..... No offence whatsoever guys....but i cant understand why its such a problem.

I like anyone like seeing my score....but not once have i even bothered for a second about highlighting the image to view it.

Does everything in life have to be soo easy & accessible. I enjoy effort

I guess I just don't understand why it's such a problem for you and bothers you so much that there are others who would like the view on our own profile page to simply return to how it was two days ago. You must have hated seeing that information to feel so strongly that none of us should have the ability or the option to conveniently see it.

And you can say "no offence", but insinuating that those of us who want to see our information in a convenient manner are just lazy ("what's 1 second of effort", "does everything in life have to soo easy") is pretty rude. Why did you turn somebody's request to Pixoto into a personal attack?

A personal attack?. Are you serious?

I think before you make a silly accusation you should read what i wrote.

I'm completly entitle to my own opinion....as you are. This is called a forum....where people can speak their mind. Where people express views.

I didnt say any of you were wrong to have an opinion...i simply stated that i didnt see the problem....and it took little effort to move your mouse or finger to see your score. But if thats offensive to you Lenore....then maybe its you that has the problem? I'm not calling you lazy....i didnt call you anything.

Now....when i go to a photography site i want to see images that have no junk written on them. My own included....if i choose to see information....i now hover my mouse.

Thats my opinion.....the opinion i am completly entitle to.

Dont accuse me of a personal attack. Its just plain silly
