The image duels are on the decline and becoming meaningless as so many are mis-categorized. I see it every time I open up detailed duel results and it's not just a few it's a large percentage. This needs some quality control at least up to the same level as the challenges or what's the sense?

Hello Howard, I'm sorry you are disappointed, but with thousands of photos daily uploaded to site we can not check them all before allowing them to duel. That is why we rely on users to report misscategorized photos. Hope you understand.

Jasenka, I'm not referring to the users that miss-categorize. I'm referring to Pixoto's duel selections. Case in point, I submitted an alligator under Reptiles. I had 19 losses in the reptile category to horses, birds, deer, bison, fish and insects. 50% of all the losses were to animals that were not even close to being reptiles. When 50% of anyone's losses are from photos that should not be in the category, that's substantial.

Howard, duels with our photos take place with all the other photos in the Category we put them in; subcategories are only for organizational purposes and really don't have much meaning. Awards are given out for the best in a category, so all the images have to duel to determine the winners. So, yes, every photograph in Animals duels the other photographs in that category, it's the same for all the categories. That's how Pixoto works.

Question for Jasenka - if you rely on us to report them, how long does it take for this report to make it to those who take care of it. I report as often as I need to and feel I now have a good grasp of what to report but it takes days and sometimes longer for some items to stop appearing in duels. A good example would be "watermarks" which I see often and report as often but they still remain sometimes over 24 hours later. Is there a timeframe on reports -- in other words does it take a certain amount of hours to cycle through?

Hello After Oz, targeted time for acting on reports is usually 24-48 hours. Sometimes we can act sooner, and sometimes if there is too much reports it will take longer.
