I put a picture of a valley and some mountains, and because it has a fence in it you recategorize it to Buildings and Architecture??? Better give me a good reason, I'm about done with this site.

I’ve had the same response before and feel there is a lot of gray zone. Read my comment below to see why I consider it a landscape

Jasenka, the blog link for category descriptions flags as malware on Google Chrome. While it may not send a red flag on other browsers, it is a concern that Google sees errors that can allow non-authorized entities (Hackers) into our computers if we use the blog. It is something that I brought to your attention last week. Of course to fix it would require that actual techs spend time addressing that issue along with the issue of Pro accounts not working for almost a month, and awards not being given for February and annual awards for 2017 not being awarded at the end of March.... it's beginning to look like Pixoto either does not have any techs or has the most incompetent techs in the world.

I forgot to include the problem of points not being added when one does win an award... the tech problems keep mounting up.

It’s called pink evening. I deleted the other one I put up because they both did horribly. Who’s going to vote for a fence when compared against a nice barn or house? I reaize the fence is probably too sharp and makes it look more prominent. I recently learned how to blend two photos so that’s what I did to make the fence more sharp. But the rest of the photo is sharp and in my mind I was taking a photo of the landscape and the fence just added to it. I think if I had wanted the fence as a main subject I would have blurred the background.

Hello Chad, here is description for Landscape category:
"Landscape – Photos where the natural scenery is a subject. If the subject is anything other than a natural scene (e.g. a city, a building, a person, an animal, a natural or man-made object) – don’t put it here. City, building, person, animal, natural or man-made object can be object in landscape photography that adds interest to the scene, but it must cover less then 20% of photo and must not dominate the landscape."
Since the fence dominates the landscape image was correctly recategorized.

Thank you for information about notification on Category description page, I already informed our tech about it.

It’s not fair to put a fence against beautiful buildings. Maybe there needs to be some kind of rural or farm type category.
