Michelle, yes it does but usually not more than 3..5 times. I don't have access to voters' demographics so it is a mystery why sometimes same picture gets different success being submitted in the morning or in the evening. Also, first votes play the most significant role in the picture's proress. I have images that barely got 400 points on first submission and went to top 10 after second or third resubmission.

Also, you lose all the points when you resubmit the picture that already has badges. So resubmitting a winner picture doesn't make sense unless you are resubmitting it for a particular contest.

I understand what you mean, I have done it as well and experienced the same as you but after the second time, I give it up. It's just a little boring to see the same pictures in the duels, especially if it lasts for weeks. I guess people would like to see something new. Maybe I'm wrong

In theory yes that would be true, but i have got several images that have got top 10 & 5 %, i willl resubmit them losing a few points is nothing

Pixoto have created a competition where it pays to resubmit rather than settle for a lesser award, what would you prefer 17 points for 20% or risk it and resubmit to get 2058 for 1st place ?

Ralph, I totally don't care for the points. They could have removed them at all and I wouldn't be disappointed. I am after the awards and for one purpose only — I'd like to know if I made a good shot or a bad shot (in split-second duelling context of course). But I understand that there are photographers who are point-hungry and in that case your observation makes perfect sense. The point system is unbalanced now.
