How does the Awards being posted on my timeline work? I noticed that when I win an award, a badge is posted on my timeline, but unless my FB friends specifically checks out my timeline they are not able to see the awards I won unlike before.
Is this how it should work?

Thanks,

We are using Facebook's newish Open Graph system. Under this system facebook has a lot more flexibility in terms of how the awards are handled. We've found that Facebook will usually create a news feed story for your awards on your friends pages but not always.

In order to increase the likelihood that your awards will appear in your friends news feeds you have to show Facebook that Pixoto is important to you. To do this go to this url: https://www.facebook.com/uyraffy/app_...

And click on the pencil next to the items that you want to make sure appear on your timeline - then select "show on timeline" instead of "Allowed on Timeline". Making this change will 1) make sure that your awards appear on your timeline and 2) show Facebook that Pixoto awards are important to you (and therefore should be to your friends).

I hope this helps. Let me know how it works.

Yes that is my site:)
Just hover your mouse towards the upper right of the Pixoto All Time but below the line. You will see the edit pencil button appear.

Jason,

Will get back to you later, as of now it still doesn't seem to work. Not sure if its because its considered old news or my wife hasn't upgraded to Timeline so I am unable to do a thorough test using a friends FB.

Although 1 thing I noticed is that you will have to do this every time for every new award I get, am I correct in this assumption?

Thanks,

Its working now. But I have to manually tag the award "show on timeline" every time. Can't this be done automatically when you post an award?

I don't know of any way of making sure that Pixoto awards are always added to your timeline. I think that if you continue to click to show Pixoto award on your timeline FB will start to default to showing them. Let me know if this works.

I noticed that the July 6 awards, only one award badge is being posted on my timeline even if I have won 3 awards. Same with today's awards only 1 is posted on my timeline.

Is this how it should work or is this a bug?

Thanks,

Any plans on revising how awards are shown on your FB Timeline like showing the badges? Like what you did before.
