May I ask how do you deal with watermarked images?

You clearly states that images should not have any kind of watermark ("No watermarks or personally identifiable borders"), but from time to time it happens to be shown in duels images with watermarks. I usually tend to not vote for that image because it is against the rules.

When you find an image with watermark, are you going to remove that? If yes, how is that impacting the score? Are duels with those images being removed and score adjusted?

What about adding the possibility to report these kind of images with a link/button in ImageDuel screen?

Luca. We have a fairly loose policy towards watermarks right now because we don't have the manpower to police it (or a good way to correct it). Watermarked images are definitely not eligible for cash awards. We are building a "report this image" function that will make this easier to manage. I think many people do as you do and vote down watermarked images. I know I do.

This attitude towards watermarks is perhaps one of the best things I have seen on any photo site. I love the idea of reporting a photo for a watermark, LOL. Please make it so.

I for one have had to add watermarks to my images because I had images stolen at other sites. So to post here I have to figure out how to remove them :( Not that easy to do.
