Hello Angelo,

I want to make sure the answer I give you is correct, so I am double checking to make sure. Thank you for your patience. (this question has not come up since I started with Pixoto in February)(

I am glad I checked, I was making it really complicated! Anyway, I was told " Rank is based on the average imagescore of the top 20 images the photographer submitted to the category."

Sherry, unless things have changed, I believe the Best Photographers of the Year awards are based on the average imagescore of the TOP 10 images (not top 20) the photographer has submitted to a category, and the TOP 20 togs with the highest average score in each category are then awarded the red banner of BPOTY.

I see you already got your answer to your question on your own thread you posted. We'll see if Sherry comments on what I said about how Best Photographers of the Year are selected. Anyway, best of luck to you this year on this site, Angelo!

Thanks, Sherry. Just think you or Jason may have confused the 20 top togs in each category with the average imagescore of their top 10 photos. I could be wrong. It does happen occasionally...lol!

John, Jason said you are correct it is the top ten. I probably confused him with my blonde math explanations ;)

So they will award top 20 togs in each category as BPOTY.
