So wait I'm sorry I'm really confused. How is someone decided to be awarded? Is it like a certain ImageScore number on a photo automatically qualifies you for a cash prize? I just can't exactly find where on this website it really specifies how these prizes and whatnot work.

See, I read that, and it offers no explanation about how awards and prizes are determined. I'm pretty sure I didn't miss anything like that, at least.

I guess I understand the thing about "image with highest score at end of voting period gets cash prize", but it's still unclear to me. What is considered a very high score and when does a voting period end? Sorry to sound like a pathetically confused newbie. I'm just mostly confused about the section where it says "min # of images per week" and lists numbers and cash prizes, because I'm not really sure what the means.

Thank you for all your help, by the way, Andrew!

No problem Alaina. It can be very confusing the way points are allocated. Basically the more people that like your photo the more points you will get. There are awards (non cash) to the highest score of the day and the highest 5% 10% and 20% of the total amount of pictures in the category that you uploaded your picture to (all non cash). If you get the number 1 of the day and it ends up being the #1 of the week then you get a cash prize based on the amount of entries submitted to that category you received the awards in. Where it says minimum # of images a week refers to the total amount of photos uploaded to the category you have submitted your photo to.
IE....if you upload a picture of a dog and that pic wins #1 of the day you get a non cash award. If that photo maintains its #1 position for a week you get a #1 for the week award and a cash prize provided there have been the minimum amount of pics uploaded during that week.
I think I have covered most of it although since I do not work for Pixoto I can't be sure. If a Pixoto rep reads this and wants to add anything that would be great. If not then I guess I got it right. I hope I have helped. Please feel free to ask more questions as that is how we learn. :)

Thanks Michelle. That actually sounds like fun. I would enjoy that. If they would let me telecommute and they make me an offer I may even consider it. I am kind of getting use to this place. :) Plus I love to help people.
