I would rather not have my Facebook page covered in links to Pixoto, I just want to keep Pixoto from declaring it out to the world every time I upload an image.

Anthony, I believe it's in "My Settings" on the Pixoto page.

Hey Anthony,

When you submit images there is a checkbox at the bottom of the submit form (above the submit button) that specifies whether you want to post your activity to Facebook or Twitter. We default to post as many Players want to allow their friends know about the images they post to Pixoto, but you can uncheck it easily.

Does that help?

Hi Justin,

Just a thought...this could be the reason some players feel that the voting is being "unduly influenced". The rule states, "Do not ask your friends to vote up your image. We rely on unbiased feedback.", which would seem a bit contradictory to allowing newly uploaded or even award winning photos, to post and be seen by FB friends. Even though you are not "asking", them to vote on your images, it almost looks implied, given that the image URL is shown with the message.

I like my friends to see my work as well as the next guy and mine have posted on FB, but I'm wondering if this is just dangling the carrot before the horse, so to speak? Maybe better to remove the...shall we say... temptation? As I said, just a thought.

Wayne, I've thought the exact same thing myself. While your friends still have to go through the duels until they get to your photo, they still know which one is yours when they come to it.

Hey Will - you should see a checkbox in the comment box that says "Post to Facebook". Uncheck that and it won't post to Facebook. This is a default behavior of Facebook comments.
