It feels pointless to compete against photographers who sits in hiding! I get tired of posting pictures and compete against these hide Pictures!!!!!!The photographers will NOT even know they are photographed in hiding!!!!

Lollo, right below your question are two promoted responses by me to this "idiotic so-called discussion," one of which I defend myself and other zoo photographers and the issues they deal with, so I'm certainly not hiding the fact where most of my images are shot. I even answered your question which you posted on my highest scoring shot where you asked where the shot was taken, which was the Bronx Zoo in NY. I have also posted some "real" wildlife images but they tend to max out in the mid to high 6's and never score as well as my captive shots.

In a very short time on this site I reached the conclusion that I can't really compete with professionals with professional cameras and lenses trekking out to locations to shoot wild raptors and such, and have never found a spot to take awesome shots of feeding swallows as Mr. Husada has, and who will be the runaway top tog in
the Animals category this year. What i did discover is that I can readily compete and win daily and weekly contests with my captive animal shots on this site, and that's what makes me smile, not trying to throw insults at people for the way or the subject they choose to shoot.

This is one of my wildlife shots of a red tailed hawk that I thought would score a lot higher, but I was proud of the shot nonetheless. Oh, and btw, I wasn't in a blind when I took this. Was standing by a pond out in the open and it flew by me, intent on something on the ground on the other side of the pond. Not that it matters that I was out in the open, but I thought telling you might give you a nice warm fuzzy feeling and tend to smooth over this hostility you have shown in this thread. :)
