Flowers are so individual and yet they have to compete with entire landscapes. It seems there are too many beautiful landscape photos that a simple flower cannot compete and yet they duel. I wish flowers could have there own catagory.

I'd really like to see floral in a separate category, or at least more fairly competed against. This week there appears to be more landscape pics that are competing against fewer flower shots; it's really not apples to apples.

In this world of political correctness a topic of "plant life" would be more inclusive than flowers and should be narrow enough to not include landscape. Mold, fungus and moss are all plant life without flowers to name just a few.

I'm not an expert on "flora", but, i'm getting pretty bored with water lilies, gerber daisies, etc. If the image is unique, I will vote on it...otherwise "SKIP".

Why not have a category for wild flowers and one for grown.
It could also be a category for artistic flowers too.
