Will pixoto do something if member used too much photoshop to submit a fake photo? Recently, the reflection of the buildings of several photos on City, Street & Park are just inverse the photo and paste to the bottom. One member used to put those photos under digital art, recently, he join the group and submitted under City, Street & Park and got high scores. Most of those pictures under high scores are strongly photoshop photos. It seems not fair to those real photographer. Those photos should under digital art not City, Street & Park.

Pixoto allows composites... period... if it 'looks' real that is good enough. Digital seems to be used for fantasy scenes, things that can't possibly be real. everything else is a go.

I agree. How about combine several human faces to create a perfect portrait and submit under People, what do you think? There is a category call "Digital Art". Check out their photos. How can the reflection as clear as the real image. Does it look real?

Fake photos are gorgeous and big moon over various urban images, and thousands of birds with fish in beak. You do not mind and those, or bothers you that do not know Photoshop?

Hello Cary, we allow extensive use of Photoshop or other post processing techniques in all categories. If images look unreal or surreal then they belong in Digital art category.

I hope this helps.

I know photoshop is widely use in the industry and it is difficult to draw a fine line how much photoshop we use is right. If we are talking about photo competition, we should show people our photo technic. With a little help of photoshop is OK. But not like copy and enlarge the moon and paste to another photo. A fake subject. Why bother to take a camera to shot photos? Just sit at home, copy and paste several images and create a stunning photo. This is not a photoshop competition. There is a category call "Digital Art" for photo creators.
