Easier way to view an image that you've seen in a duel. I sometimes see really beautiful photos that I'd like to get a closer look at, but in order to find them I have to go all the way through the leader boards. I understand that keeping images anonymous during the duels keeps the dueling honest but there must be a way to provide a link or something to view the image without giving too much away up front? Maybe keep an image duel history for each player with the option to go back and view images?

Great news Marjorie! We hear you and feel the same way.

Look for a "Choose + Favorite" option coming to ImageDuels in the not so distant future. Basically, you can still click anywhere on the image just to choose the winner as you do today or you can click a special area of the image to choose the winner and add the image to your favorites in a single click!

How's that for easy?

This idea was good, but the implementation has caused a problem. The "Choose + Favorite" ends up covering parts of the image, sometimes hiding important aspects which make judging more difficult, or unfair.
If the button would be above or below the image, that would make it much better. I am glad that I can still get to the "old format" of dueling from other parts of the website.

This is not supposed to be live yet. I believe it is IE only and we will get it fixed. Sorry about that!

Well, unfortunately, the ability to use the "old format" imageduel was taken away today. The Choose+Favorite is now manditory, no matter where you get into it, and it interferes with the images. In fact, I was duelng and came accross a photo that was a wide Panorama image and the Choose+Favorite button was so big in relation to the image that I felt sorry for the person that took the picture, because it ruined his/her image. That was using IE.
It is true that in Chrome the button does not show on top, but when you click on the bottom center portion of the image, not only does it not add to favorites, but it won't even "choose" the image.
I have not tested it in Firefox, but it does not seem to be an issue on my Andriod phone . , , yet.
I sugest that you make the Choose+Favorite buttons on the bottom of the imageduel window, on both sides of the simi-worthless "skip" button.
