Someone needs to tell her that changing the color and or turning the image doesn't make it a different image! Also zooming in on the same image isn't different enough. Now she'd submitting the same alphabet letters she copied from me -- now in pink.

They are similar but not duplicates. They are allowed.

If they stop allowing similarities like this, Pixoto would have to delete half of all the flowers in the Flower Category. LOL!

I have a bit of a different view I guess... I guess it's all about why you post your shots on line in the first place.... I think you should be able to post similar images on here all you want as the reason I post here is the hope that someone buys a print ..(Great Quality canvases by the way) ... I am not really concerned if I win a sticker on the page other than it helps promote the possible name recognition to sale a print... I have a 4 season print that i can't post because there are the exact same photos but taken from the same spot during each season.. I won't post here because people will bitch they are similar... There might be someone out there that would like to buy a photo someone has up but want it in B/W, or flipped or a bit redder, bluer or a 4 set with each a different color tint like a Warhol set... Well if you post such someone raises hell that they are too similar and they get pulled...

photos as you suggest of 4 seasons would not be too similar... seasonal changes are quite different. and any colour photo can be entered in a regular category and a b/w can also be entered in the b/w category. different colour tints how ever of the same scene would be a no no. too similar or crops of the same photo are usually easy to spot, the idea is to pick the best composition not add a number of different ones that are only different in a minor way. go for it Quantummist.
