I am so tired of being blocked from ImageDuel. It a shame that you have to worry about clicking on an image that you think is better, because you might get banned because of 'voting patterns'......and the Pixoto staff hardly ever replies to my emails; which is very rude. Completely ridiculous!!!

I was blocked for a week from voting.....finally got imageduel back this morning...and after just 1 MINUTE, I was banned! AGAIN! because of 'voting patterns'.

Not fair.

Brittney, are you voting on a computer or on an Iphone? it could be if you are using a phone then you may not be getting big enough images to see if the pics you are voting for are of poor quality. just a possibility.

I was banned too again yesterday.
Voting slower indeed helps, but ... given the questions I was asked when asked for explanation (via Jasenka), I again have the impression that if you vote a few times based on the wrong preference (so voting for a picture that has substatial lower points) you get banned as well. So Pixoto also seems again to ban voters simply based on their preference !
I'am stil awaiting explanation...

I too have tried voting slower, but have realized that isn't the issue. - I received an email from Jasenka explaining to me that the reason that my account was flagged and my ImageDuel privileges were revoked was because of certain images that I was choosing. I was given 10 snapshots of 10 duels that I have voted on.I was then asked to email her back explaining why I chose each image that I chose. How ridiculous is that?? Why should I have to explain why I chose certain images in the ImageDuel. I thought the ImageDuel was in place for the community members to vote on which image THEY prefer.

The ImageDuel certainly is not fair, that's for sure.

perhaps Brittney, you have been purposefully choosing the worst images to lower the others score? Asking you to explain your choices is giving you the benefit of the doubt. This is one of the few ways that the site has of policing the votes so that vote stacking should not occur. Now you want to take that ability away?

No Joyce, I do not purposely choose the worst image. I never have. What would be the point of me doing that? I vote based on whichever photo that *I* think is best; which is what the ImageDuel is suppose to be all about.

...but thank you for the unneeded accusation

You did not see the sarcasm did you? I am not the one that asked you to defend your choices, did I?

Well I have some photos that have been accepted by *real* stock sites that totally bomb out and lose to shots that are out of focus, low quality, poor composition and just plain dreck -

Brittney Lynn - I do seem to recall that you have ruffled feathers before by awarding yourself the Judge's Award to a low-scoring image of your own in a challenge that you set and moderated - and did so by your own admission to to earn the credits, so I guess it's not unreasonable for Pixoto to ask you to explain why you voted the way you did.....
