I think the competition could be more fair and objective if the pic chose by person that lives on different area

That is actually a VERY good idea. Wonder whether the voting for pictures could be restricted to other countries or continents!

EDIT - after reading Darrell's comments (below) I am not so sure any more...

Hi Syamsul, thank you so much for sharing your idea with us and trying to help us make Pixoto a better photographic community, We rely on people's honesty to skip duels where they may know the photographer that took the image and do ban any personal markings on the photo that would indicate ownership for this reason, but new ideas are always welcome.

Actually there is another side to this....people living in different geographical areas would also likely find other areas more exotic and thus more interesting. For example, I love seeing Asian landscapes/waterscapes and am more likely to vote for them against British landscapes/waterscapes simply because I can see those myself at any time. This puts any country with a higher percentage of Pixoto users at a disadvantage since there will always be more of them possibly voting for the more exotic scenery rather than the view next door. You can see this in action easily, just post a local picture at a time when your country is most active, then resubmit it when your country is mostly sleeping and check the difference. I've tested this a few times and the foreign votes are always more favourable than local.

I found that too! Guess we need to submit at late night hours so that my side of the world is sleeping. :)
